• About Access Framingham

Access Framingham’s mission is to engage, serve and enrich the community by developing programming by and for the people of Framingham, providing educational opportunities, and facilitating the exchange of ideas and information through traditional and new media.

Connecting your Community

Access Framingham trains and assists members to produce video programming content, provides field production equipment and cablecasting facilities to air content on the channel. All Framingham residents are eligible to become members of Access Framingham. Individual member producers are responsible for program content and retain their content copyrights.

Public Access television provides members with training, access to television recording and editing equipment, and cable broadcast air time to show locally recorded programming. Public Access programming is a valuable grassroots mass communications vehicle. We invite you to contact us to learn more,  become a member, and take a class or volunteer with us. Anyone who lives or works in Framingham is welcome. Memberships begin at $30/year ($15 for youth and seniors). The online membership application is available here.

Framingham Public Access Corporation (FPAC) aka Access Framingham is a non-profit corporation designated by the City of Framingham to run Access Framingham Television (AFTV). AFTV also manages the Framingham Education Channel (FECtv). AFTV, FECtv and the Government Channel (called Public Access PEG channels) are all supported by the cable television subscribers in Framingham.
