Gina Ray, Production Associate
Gina is a Hofstra University graduate who double-majored in Television Production and Dance. While at Hofstra, Gina shot one hour, multi-show dance performances each semester as a videographer and editor for Mind Over Movement Over Matter. Ray edited the footage into individual pieces and a full show responsible for graphics, sound design, etc. As an intern for Humble TV, she created the itinerary to facilitate director travel throughout the productions, sorted footage on Wire Drive, selecting spots for reels, updated production logs, and post-production information.
Gina has extensive equipment and software knowledge with AVID Media Composer, Final Cut Pro (7 and X), Photoshop & Wire drive, Hitachi SK-UHD4000, DSLR, JVC, AVC cameras, 4K, Leko, Scoop, Cyc lights, Ross Switcher, Soundcraft Audio Board and Chyron LEX & MicroX.
As a volunteer for Access Framingham Television (AFTV), Gina worked with the staff, members, interns on several productions including Concert on the Green – a weekly live band coverage, the station’s news show, The Framingham Beat, as a package producer who shot and edited several segments per week and directed several in-studio shows including interviews of mayoral candidates and children’s shows.
Boston Early Music Festival is where Ms. Ray began her television career as a Production Intern who bridged communication between producers/directors and cast; assisted in creating/adjusting schedule & enforcement and transcribed all rehearsal and performance corrections and director notes.
